Landrovers are what we've done most of.... To date, 7 chassis have been fitted, 2 of them being a full Landrover rebuilds - every nut and bolt and wire!!

We can offer what we hope is competitive pricing for a chassis replacement service. But again what's needed is based on the state of your pride and joy, so we discuss your needs with you and the work involved in transforming your Landrover. If possible, we would like to look over the vehicle before we start - we can visit you if the beloved workhorse is a little lame....! So chassis prices can range from £1800 to £2500 (inc VAT and delivery) and our labour rate for a simple chassis swap normally works out to around £1500. So you should be budgetting that sort of money.... When we discuss through the options over 1 or many cups of coffee, we can build up a better estimate for you....

If you know about such things take a look at the chassis suppliers, Marsland (http://www.marsland-chassis.co.uk/), Designa Chassis (http://www.designa-chassis.co.uk/) or Richards Chassis (http://www.richardschassis.co.uk/), they all offer various options we can incorporate into your rebuild and can transform you vehicle..... We like the coil options for Series trucks and plastic tanks for the Defender. When we replace the chassis, we would normally provide new brake lines and flexible hoses, chassis bushes and bumpstops - it's just easier than trying to get the corroded stuff off the old one.... But if you've just replaced them or have specials, fine with us. But after that, the choice is yours on what you want... We only insist that that if a part consists of just rust, then we can't put it back..! We will ensure you have a solid safe vehicle at the end.... Though we'll have made you aware of the weaknesses of your Landrover before we begin..... So a simple swap can be done in approx 1-2 wks depending on specifics, but again let us know what you need.As with all our other services, we can pick up and deliver the landrover and provide you that personal service with regular updates on progress - especially if it's not quite the simple chassis change job.....
